Haven't been on this forum in a long time, and it's been years since a big oak tree limb totaled the last MK8 I had. But I still have a bunch of stuff for them and I'm cleaning a lot of clutter out of my shop.
There's ,a full set of HID lights for Gen 1 plus some extra pieces for them. a limited slip diff, assy, a front bumper cover, about 6 alternator rebuildable cores, owners manuals and shop manuals. I just hate to throw this stuff away, but I do want it gone! No "cherry picking", all or none.
I'm in Griffin, GA, which is about 35-40 miles S of Atlanta You can reach me @ cpropman nat bell south dot net

Dang, if you were closer I'd take everything. :p

Haven't heard from you in ages. Too bad about last Mark VIII. :(

I've just talked to a friend down there that will be able to pick them up next Monday, I'll send you another email.

This seems like a great haul. I'm glad you're in a position to save it, Bill!

Bill I have sent you a reply email. Some details about when/where/how to pick this stuff up need more discussion than I care to try to type, so I included my cell phone number.
Driller, good to hear you are still kicking about in MK8*s. Send me an email with your phone number and I'll give you a call.
Dave

Billcu was unable to get the relay he hoped to get in order to get the stuff to his place Now that I've started digging it all out of the nooks, crannies, and corners, I can give a better report on what's there: One full set of HIDs with bulbs, ballasts, and headlight housings with correct lenses, another set of bulbs and ballasts, but without housings, parking lights, a full set of door and quarter panel glass, a front bumper cover, a limited slip carrier assy, at least one owner's manual, a factory shop manual and another for electrical and vacuum components, and I keep thinking there's a set of snowflake wheels. Haven't been in the back shed yet to look for them. Possibly more small stuff in some of the boxes.
I allowed the guy who helped me gather the stuff up because I'm partially disabled and have to use a cane to get around, to scrap the used core inop alternators.
As stated before, I'm not interested in packing stuff up and shipping it, nor am I inclined to have someone pick and choose what to take and what to leave in my way. Nothing is for sale, but it's all; free if you come get it and take it all.

PalmettoMarkVIII - If you're in a position to get this, go for it.

My approach would be to ask a favor of my sister, who lives a bit north of Atlanta. It'd be about a 4 hour drive round trip, and potentially a burden for her to store it until I can head down from MN to retrieve it. (and she'd have to agree to it!)

However if nobody else can grab this stuff, that is in fact my plan. :)

Wow, nice surprise to come back to! Got busy, and just getting back to forum. It will be next weekend, at the earliest, before I can try to head that way.

So, Tixer, if you can work it out before then, go for it.

Dave, I need to fix the wiring on my trailer before heading out of state, already have new wiring bought. I'll pm you when I'm ready, for your details.

Palmetto, I'm not a good typist and would prefer to talk on the phone about details of pickup. So, if you will, just send me eamail of your phone number and time(s) good to call. I'm at cpropman at bellsouth dot com.

Palmetto, again I request you send me your phone number so we can more easily discuss specific things about time place etc
Need to have his in order to make plans also with Mem Day coming up.

Palmetto, absent mindedme now can't find your email or phone number because I forgot your name! Please contactme, this stuff needs to go.
