Congrats anyway. At least we now know Moose is human and has to suffer occasional losses just like the rest of us. ;-)

What a crock. How hard is it to make a brand new car look nice? If you wanted to see new cars, why not go to a car dealer?

Congrats on the 2nd place anyway, though. We all know who's #1 ;) :D

It was good to have met you on Sunday Leo, I enjoyed speaking with you. Thanks for sharing your engine detailing tips. The "Moose" is every bit as impressive in person(?) as it is in your photos. It is one very sweet ride. The T Bird was a nice looking car, but I walked away thinking that you had won another trophy. Your paint and finishing touches far exceeded the dealer prep job that the 'Bird sported. Perhaps its' unique (?) black and red two-tone seats turned the judges heads!
There were quite a few outstanding cars in competition, and most WERE my father's Oldsmobiles, '56, '62, '63 just needed a '68 to complete the list. I hope you get the proper grouping next time Leo, the "Moose" deserves it!

congrats. Stinks that put new cars in your class. Seems like more and more new cars are showing up at the shows not right in my opinion. Look forward to meeting you at the show in Accord if you are going.

Moose has been humbled!
Hey, he still got 2nd, No ?

Listen, greenKIN is FEMALE ! Yup, FEMALE! So, ah.... can we kinda introduce Moose to greenKIN?? You could have pick of litter!:) Maybe, together we could make a 2-Door green Lincoln!!

RE: Moose gets beat! aarrgghhh...

I know you are kidding, but really that's not nice.
(Moose is all excited now, but Sandy, will you allow greenKIN to date a Goyim).
I think since my son is doing just that, it would be okay for greenKIN.

Carlise, and any and all other plans for now and henceforth have been cancelled. It's pretty much doom & gloom around here. Pretty much rote-living. Bathroom eat sleep food market cleaners. Little else. Oh, 'Ya ~ JuMp everytime the phones rings after 9PM.

(My wife's brother is dying of Lymph Cancer, Bone Marrow Cancer and other ills. He has like anywhere from 2 days to 4 weeks to go.)

RE: Moose gets beat! aarrgghhh...

Leo,
That sucks.
All these new cars shouldn't be allowed to show, unless there in the parking lot.

RE: Moose gets beat! aarrgghhh...

Matt, many people would say that about a 1995 Lincoln, as well. I mean, compared to say a 1961 Lincoln, most people would view a 1995 as "new" ~ Granted.....it IS a hard call to make. Where does one make the cut off? 5 years old? 10? 12? 15? Or 15 days? Someone will be UNhappy at each level.

How about "can't buy one just like it at the dealer". Once it becomes at least somewhat of an accomplishment to have that vehicle in that shape.

RE: Moose gets beat! aarrgghhh...

Sandy,
what I ment was,how can you take a car off the showroom floor and compete with a car that is 5 years or older.
I once lost a trophy to a brand new Ford Ranger p/u vs my 70 Chevelle.(Leo, you know the show I am talking about).
It's just not fair.
That is just my opinion.

RE: Moose gets beat! aarrgghhh...

Oh yes, I certainly agree with that. The problem comes in deciding WHERE to make the cut-off. That is where the dissagreements begin....
