move this forum?

steve

With "LOD" Since 1997
Would this forum fit better in the "Car Enthusiasts' Center" conference? The General Club Discussion is getting crowded and should just be for club type stuff I would think.

RE: move this forum?

That is a good suggestion. At the same time, it would be a good idea to clean up the description.

"Have you been" instead of just starting out with "Been...."

Dot those I's, cross those t's....

RE: move this forum?

I like the idea so much I just went ahead and did it.
If anyone thinks that was a bad idea we can move it back to Gen. Disc.
Fixed the spelling on the way.

RE: move this forum?

I think we need a section dedicated to time slips, and dyno runs, and another section dedicated to "racing stories". That away we get a feel, and solid proof of what these cars can do!

I agree with Joe and I had mentioned it before a long time ago on another "site". I'm not so sure it would need to be a forum. Some sites have a spreadsheet type thing to include this stuff. It's important for the member to tell also the weather conditions to put things in proper perspective. Running a 13.9 at sea level, with a tail wind in 37-degree weather is a little different than one at 5,000+ feet in Denver, or 90-degree humid weather in south Florida in July. There are also weather correction sites you can go to and get a standard of your runs. Most dyno’s correct for this but not race tracks.

It's not like another forum would be too much.:)

I just hope those 'racing stories' relate to the drag strip. It is my opinion that the LOD and it's online board should not condone illegal street racing by allowing such stories.
