My Navigator

Former LOD President
Thought i'd come in and give a little update in a new thread.

I've already racked up a couple thousand miles on my '02 navigator. Towed my boat with it, did a brake job, washed/waxed it and cleaned the interior as well. Took forever to wax. This thing is big. And an extra row of seats just takes that much longer to clean, also. Third row seat is in the basement now.

I towed my boat to the shop with it also. It towed pretty well. It has a shorter wheelbase than the suburban, and you can tell. You can feel it on the highway, but the better suspension evens it out and it still feels stable. It's easier to move around in parking lots, and has more power and torque but it's still no rocketship, esp when towing 6500 lbs. It does stop a hundred times better though.

Brake job wasn't too bad. I went with morse ceramic enhanced pads, for $40. I had to replace some clips in there too. Rotors were find. Calipers were fine also, and they're dual piston calipers. I'm definitely happy with the brakes on the truck so far.

RE: My Navigator

I have had this truck almost a month now. I've put over 4000 miles on it already.

It does great in the snow, or at least it has so far. Just got the first real taste today on the way back from sunny florida.
