My new 97 LSC "Leftover" Car

Thanks again Jeremi.

I got it plated yesterday, put my 20 spokes on it, and took it for a ride to a friends house.

It ran great. The ride with the lowered coils is very different to me. I hate to admit it, but I kind of like it on some road conditions. I'll have to put more miles on it to really check it out though.

I didn't notice a big difference with the 373's, as I was on slow roads and really didn't get a chance to nail it yet.
On the way home, I did catch myself going too slow though, as I'm not used to the higher RPMS.:D

I took a photo of it with the 20 spokes on it. The car is dirty, but I like the way it looks with the 20 spokes.:)

I'll be taking the green one, as usual, to Carlisle.

If I can talk Jeremi into going, and he doesn't have a Mark then, he can drive any one he wants.:D

Good luck with that...

I don't need to give Michigan's finest a reason to pull me over either.:D

We know it would never be for speeding... :p

the 20 spokes do look pretty good btw :D

You're certainly not the first person to say that. I'm becoming more tempted...

Don't get me wrong, this car came with the conversion. I would never convert to coils if the car had air ride.

The coils don't seem to take bumpy roads very well. But I'm still evaluating them.:)

I was getting some wheel hop doing some WOTs Sunday. :)

The Force is Strong with this one... Come to the Dark Side... Bill... lol :)

I miss my air ride terribly, and short of buying a functioning air ride donor car, I tried everything to keep it alive. I will say, I now have less stress in my life since the conversion to coils.

Your car is converted Mike? I thought it was just sensor lowered.

See...that was back when I lost Internet for a while!! Haha!

Yep, it's 4 Mark VIII's now.

Club 32.:D

32 pistons and 128 valves.:fart

I drove the CE to work today. BIG difference in the ride. It will be a better comparison when I get a set of the same tires though (soon).

I've only driven one coil convert and I thought it road poorly, and handled even worse, but I concede it may have been more the car then its lack of air bags as the car was not in great shape overall.

The lowered marks def have a unique way of handling. With the stock wheels on i dont like it much. It's decent but not great(better then air) around turns and whatnot but is a little to bouncy on dips ect.
Its a totaly diff feel with the 19's on..Def handles better but still a wee bit bouncy. I'll blame that on the cheap monroes i have in the rear.

Def a nice mark though.

Dark side here I come.:D

I'm really enjoying that 373. With the J mod and the rear poly bushings, it's a riot hitting second gear.:)

Now it's time for a chip to remove the speed limiter for the track. I'd also like to get a couple more things in the tune, to make the engine run more like a Gen 1 engine.;)
