New times with a little help from Dennis

Well I gave in and got myself a chip from Dennis!

My times have dropped by 3-4 tenths and I've gained about 4mph!

My quickest time was a 14.65 @ 93(ish)mph in "good" weather. 40 degrees, 5 gallons of gas...you know the drill!

With the Chip...I ran a 14.70 @ 97mph! In 90 degree muggy Houston weather!

I can't wait for some "good air"! The GHOST is gonna FLY!

Oh BTW: This year ('03) I'm up to 4 Trophys and a "Money Winner" Sticker! One of those being from "Fun Ford Weekend"!
I ended last year ('02) with 7 Trophys...

RE: New times with a little help from Dennis

Instead of calling your car "The Ghost", we should start calling it "The Freak". ;) I don't know where you found that thing, but I wish it was me instead.

RE: New times with a little help from Dennis

It's not a Freak...it's PERFECT! :9

I couldn't has asked for a better car.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention...

My car has hit the 200,000 mile mark! }>

RE: New times with a little help from Dennis

I meant freak in a good way though. :) I hope my car goes strong to 200,000. If it doesn't though, that's okay....I'll just throw a Cobra motor in there if I have to.

Oh it will...

If you take care of your Mark, it'll take care of you. :7

Mine needed ALOT of TLC when I bought it...

It hadn't been washed in who's knows how long (you couldn't tell what color it was), it had a banging shock, needed a tune up bad, not to mention it had 165,000 miles. It looked and sounded pretty bad, to tell ya the truth.

The first time I drove it, I had Tom and my Mom in the car...
The car spoke to ALL of us... with a NICE 2nd gear scrach!

I was sold! I couldn't leave that Mark... it needed me! It needed someone to love and take care of it.

So here I am, a year and a half later... with a wonderful winning car! :D
