Brad and I won't be able to come.

I'm planning a surprise weekend away as a birthday present for my Mom in a couple weeks, and I can't do both :(

first batch of chili, green chili, is finishing up in the oven. Sippin good boubon and some brew..... Listening to Joe's crazy jazz. Couldn't be better.

Ok, well... I don't know what crazy surprise you could be planning your mother, but I'm just gonna say that seems like a lame excuse... if Brad's scared... you tell him I promise I'll play nice... :D

Well, it's a trip away to where we have some family downstate. I had the reservations made quite a while back, and she and I have never taken a trip together. I've been off work for a while, hence the save-up part.

You know Brad wouldn't enjoy it if you went out of your way to be nice to him - and he's a rotten brat himself! If he can dish it out, he can take it :D

You should take a trip "up state"... to visit your other family... :D

I've been off work for a while, but haven't bothered saving up anything... I plan to be living out of DTSax soon :D

Well, I guess all pictures of me today will have me crying.... I mean, it's not gonna stop the drinking, but I'll cry in-between.

Well, we've already got 3 Marks and a Caddy in the driveway (and a tent in the backyard). Bowling last night was fun. Apparently it turned into bowling for speed, with the Kid winning at 21.72 mph.

We also need to figure out if we want to go to the track tomorrow.
 
Lots of drinkin, good food, 8 marks, it rained, Dogfish 60 minute IPA on tap, burned many phone books, and one cool pulleyed mark.


I think I hear someone puking in the toilet.......
 
Good to hear about the safe trip.

No one was here to drink the Bud lite so we threw it in the fire.......pop pop pop pop pop.

Awww, we love you too! I really wanted to come, but have been worried that the two trips were scheduled too close together :(

Did you have a good trip to Chicago in your Mark??
