This is for those of you that want to keep the stock factory radio, and still have some modern conveniences. I just had one of these Parrot MKi9200 Bluetooth Hands-Free Music Kits installed in my 1996 Mercedes SL320, and love it 
The two features I wanted the most was to hook up my iPod, and the other was to have hands free android cell phone use. This device does both, and more, while keeping the stock factory radio 100% functional.
The display is hidden in the ash tray, and the hardwire lines in the console. The bluetooth remote is doubleback taped to the area by the shifter, and the microphone is next to the factory mic. I had a extra usb installed, so I have 2 - usb's 1 connects to Parrot, and 1 is a charger only, and also have the cigar lighter for the gps.
