Removing Catalytic Converters

I have A 1989 LINCOLN MARK 7 LSC and i was wondering if anyone else has removed the cats on their own or kno anyone who has
i have flowmaster super 40 series mufflers on it and i want to kno what will happen if i remove the cats ????????
 
Federal Offense..... other than that, does your state do emissions testing? It'll fail. And if that doesn't bother you, it'll breathe better.
 
Other than the emissions thing, nothing will happen when you remove them. You car will just be loud and sound like a Mustang with flows. It will go faster too. :D
