Good morning all. Through a turn of events I have gotten my old 1996 Mark VIII back. It's not in as good of shape as it was when I owned it. I sold it in 2010, to pay Uncle Sam, to my neighbor that wanted the car for his son. His son drove it until he rear ended someone. Cracked the bumper, broke a headlight and broke a piece off the hood and the broke the grill. Nothing major, no air bags no sheet metal damage. Anyway, my sons best friend bought it from my neighbor in 2017. He purchased the replacement parts and put them on. He heard a air leak so he pulled the IMRC's off in 2018 and then the car sat again until trailed top my house last Sunday. I got all the records back too from when I bought it in 2002.

I still see some familiar names that are active, which is nice. Well, off to the forum to do some research!

Welcome back! I think a lot of people are coming back to the forums after they have had enough of the facebook nonsense. :)
 
Thank you. Good to be back.

I wasn't sure what I was going to do with it because I have too many projects as it is. However, last night, I decided to go ahead and pick up where I left off with some mods. Needs a valve job and associated components that you would replace while you're there, a stall, long tubes/exhaust and it's a wrap. I put 4:10's in it when I had it and the trans was just rebuilt 5k miles ago, in 2017.

I'll try to post some pictures along the way. I'm sure I'll have questions because I've forgotten a lot about this car.
