The radio has nothing to do with the car starting. Was there a problem with the original radio?

Found out it was just the security mode on the car. I put in the door code and it fired right up.

I JUST CANT QUIT YOU!

So I got my car back, and I cant be happier! The garage I had it at did the best they could, and that was good enough. The outside and inside were/are ROUGH! That asided its a 98Mark VIII with a completly rebuild engine and trans. I can take care of the cosmetic stuff. Although the plan was to give it to my 17 year old when he graduates, nah...Daddys keepin this one.

That said, I need the teams help again. Any tips on where to throw money at for the remaining restoration? Id like to find links on this site to work with but im sure there is more out there. I need to redo the seats. Whats the position on air ride vs. coil? I am hooked on the old limbo commercial so I may go back to bags.

If you can find parts... air ride.

As for the seats, a couple places come to mind... SuperCoupe Performance and Temple Performance.

Even if I had to do all new hoses it still just compresser, hoses, shocks. (hopefully the sensors still work, lol.)

The hoses are never a problem unless one gets a hole in it which is rare and easily fixable with a simple push on union.

Since they only had 3 years and the drivetrain was the same throughout, I don't think it matters much but I would definitely seek one with the factory HD tow package.

Thanks Driller, I didnt know it was the same drivetrain thoughout. Makes sence i guess, I just glad they never went the "Echo Boost" route. That sounds like something you find in laundry detergent... Try new Tide! now with Echo Boost!
