Well we got a bunch of snow here in New England. My snow blower wouldn't start. After a few hours in the cold, I found the problem. Throttle cable wasn't doing it's job. Where it attaches to the carb was messed up. They don't last forever, this is my 1969 Ariens, and it runs great, almost. 
After the plow trucks came by, I had over 3 feet of snow in my driveway. My little machine ate it up.
