Just in case anyone else is interested, I'm attending a Solo 2 driving school in Brampton on May 3rd. It's $50 for the school and I believe a helmet is needed. I'm joining the Toronto Motorsport Club as well, which is an additional $65.
Solo 2 racing is the "parking lot & pylon" racing that's held at various parking lots such as malls/GO train. These are timed events, and most vehicles are street cars, although some do use slicks. I've watched it a few times in the past and it looks like fun.
This will be my first time doing this, so any other newbies out there are welcome to join me in being a bit out of their element!
