Summer Blast 2014

The local MN12 club (MAMN12) is hosting the annual Summer Blast weekend again (August 22-24) and all Mark VII's and Mark VIII's are invited to attend. :cool-blue:

I have been so busy as of late, I had forgotten I had not posted the event here.

Despite the initial enthusiasm, pre-registrations have been rather slow. We have only gained five additional commitments in the last month.
I am giving it another week. If we don't exceed the minimum necessary 15 commitments by the end of Saturday July 19th, I'm afraid it simply isn't worth the headache to proceed with the rental as that would only leave us with three weeks (track deposit refund deadline is August 9th) to find another ~15 cars to share the track with.
At this time, I am asking all active members on other forums, i.e. TCCoA, SCCoA, WV Streets, LOD, LvsC, Mercury marauder, or any other automotive forum to spread the word, or bump existing threads to be sure as many people are aware of this as possible.

We are most likely looking at approx $75 per car. This fee is based on the number of cars aka, the more we have the cheaper it is.

If anyone is interested in registering (especially for the track rental), you can let me know and I will have you added to the list. This is always a great event!
