Suspension Gadgets?

Are there any companies that offer gadgets for controlling the ride height?

It would be nice to jack it up when we've got a foot of fresh snow.

Just curious.

RE: Suspension Gadgets?

Thanks Bud!

There's interesting information there... and I've fired off an e-mail to get more.

I'd like to be able to raise my suspension occasionally (since my ~not maintained by the town~ road is rather... let's say... adventurous.

Even more so with NH snow.

:O)

Being able to lower it at will seems like it might be fun once and a while too.

hehe

Park the mark8 in a foot of snow dont drive it---its not meant for that lol---suspension switches arent meant for that anyway they are meant for lowering===raising it to that height for driving purposes wouldnt be safe

RE: Suspension Gadgets?

It's a tank in the snow.

I have yet to get stuck.

RE: Suspension Gadgets?

You can do something like this:

http://www.lincolnmarkviii.org/suspension/solenoidmod.html

Although it can be done easier if you skip the "dual coil latching relay" part and just use a DPST switch.

I'm not sure if the wiring is the same for a Continental, though, you should get your hands on some wiring diagrams to make sure you tap into the appropriate wires. I did this mod to my car, it cost about $25 and took an afternoon.

RE: Suspension Gadgets?
