Today was the first emissions test the Mark has had since I purchased my SCT XCal2. The short story is - I flashed the stock tune back into the Mark a few weeks ago, and ended up with a DTC P1000 code. This code is not really a problem with the car, but will not erase from the ECU until all of the OBD Monitors have been completed. You will see this code if you disconnect the battery for a period of time, or flash the ECU. I will not pass the GA emission test with any DTC codes present in the ECU. Once all of the OBD Monitors have been completed, the DTC P1000 is then cleared from memory. The fix is to just drive the car until the code clears, or go through this long exercise of driving the car per the OBD specific instructions to complete all the monitors. I started to panic, even though I had a month left to renew my tag, and said forget this, and flashed the Dennis Reinhart tune back in the Mark a couple days ago. No more DTC P1000 . I took the Mark to the inspection station today, and he hooked into the Mark. The sweat was pouring down my face for fear the Mark was going to fail, and I was going to jail. He came to the door, and said... $25.00 please. I asked - did I pass? He said - yes Thanks, Dennis. Great tool you sold me

The tune shouldn't affect your emissions...if done right.
My car has a chip, high stall converter, adj fuel pressure regulator (at 40 psi), and I got 0 ppm Hydrocarbons, 0.00 ppm Carbon Monoxide, 0.0 ppm Oxygen, and very low NO emissions. In fact, the only gases coming out of my tailpipe are CO2, NO, and water. My car is cleaner than a Honda.
