So Mark was over last night, and I excused myself to go watch a horror movie (Comcast on Demand, Fearnet), that I didn't have high hopes for but was one of the very few movies I hadn't seen which was on fearnet. Mark tells me about this new movie he saw that I should check out, and then he said, oh, there's this other one, which turned out to be Tucker & Dale, the one I had just queued up!
All 3 of us (beerdog was here for some reason), ended up watching downstairs as Mark wanted to see it again, and OMG is this movie awesome! It's a horror/comedy, and done so well, on the level (or higher in my estimation) than Shaun of the Dead or Zombieland or even Evil Dead. No zombies in this one, but it's ok, the acting is incredible, the premise wonderful and I laughed so much I had to go put my rib cage protector on, as my chest started to hurt so bad.
From what I read, do NOT watch the trailer, it gives away too much. But if you loved the slasher movies of the past, or just a well acted comedy, check this one out.
