What's the menilla box in the black 'shelf' hanging inside the top of our trunks? Anyone know if we can reposition it or what it does?

Nope I've taken the amp out and replaced it. The smaller menilla thing to the left of where the amp sits. It has plugs going into it.
Def. not the amp.

If you have a 93-94 it could be the electronic control for the rear suspension's anti-dive function.

The telephone electronics are also mounted under the shelf, if yours originally came with one.

Hell I don't even use that though. Unless I'm lost in the woods and blind but then again it wouldnt help very much in that situation either.

My sub box isn't going to slide back into the back area of the trunk unless I take that black shelf out. So I'm wondering if I can take the black shelf out and re-position the things up there.
So far all I know about is the menilla box which has the phone, anti-dive, and compass in it.

Everything up there can be moved no problem. Take the amp out, and move everything else above the struts in the back.
