Worse...Lasagne....Ever

I had my rear glass replaced finally. It was so rotted it was wrinkled all along the top. I had to take before photos.

What did they replace it with? Was it a a new OEM? I remember some earlier posts where jerimi or someone else said there were no more.

Yes it was new OEM. Jeremi told me last year there were only a couple left at the dealers, so I bought one.

I think there are still some available at some glass warehouses, OEM is the only one made, there are no aftermarket companies making them.

CAn rear windows be salvaged and reused?

If you've got a good one, with good rubber trim, from a parts car or something, it can be re installed on another car.

Jeremi's experimenting on an old bad one, but if I told you more about it, I'd have to shoot you.

You need to be in the rust belt to find the glass with a good seal.
