RE: Why Marriage Has Become a Raw Deal for Men

[div class="dcquote"][strong]Quote[/strong]That's one of the funniest things you've ever posted, Moe!I see no author name on it, was he too chicken to link his name to that trash? [/div]I actually emailed him, and he said he can’t write his name, because he would be considered an #### and in risk of losing his job for not being politically correct.
[/div]
I think the guy has a paranoid disorder of some sort. He should get some help. Maybe that's why she left him.
How on earth could his employer find out what he writes on the internet, and even if they did, how would they be able to use that to fire him?
Some of my favorite quotes:
"Except in professional sports and presidential elections, women are given the same educational and professional career opportunities as men." (ha ha, since when? Where's the stats on this?)
Oh wait, here we go - 2nd sentence:
"Also, contrary to feminist propaganda, women do indeed get paid the same salary as men, given they are willing to work the same types of jobs as men, and work as many hours as their male counterpart." (ha ha since when? Gimme stats. As far as I know engineers are one of the few jobs where women make as much as men).
Then: "For starters, men are forced (yes, forced) to spend their hard earned savings on a diamond ring." (since when? What about women who are FORCED, YES FORCED - to buy rings for their husbands?)
"To add insult to injury, (a recurring theme in marriage, as you will see), the man is now locked into a lifetime of insurance payments for this grossly overpriced jewelry." (ummmm, yeah, I think we pay about $48 per YEAR for all my jewelry to be covered, and gosh, it comes out of our JOINT checking account, since we are, after all, married)
"Immediately after buying a ring, the man may be rewarded with demands of financing all or part of a lavish wedding...." (since when? I thought the bride's parents cover this expense, and the man actually makes out from all the wedding gifts)
"You knew you wanted kids even before you met me, and you should have planned ahead." (I thought it takes two to have a kid?)
Now here's where it gets interesting:
"If the husband makes enough to support both of them, he would be hard pressed to make an argument to preserve equality, and have her continue working as he does. " (Now, up above, women supposedly make as much as men, so how in the world does this hold up?)
" It is easy to exaggerate the labors of daily housework. Yet, how long does it take to throw clothes into the wash, and remove them later?" (OK, I don't want this guy doing MY laundry!)
Oh, that's enough laughs for now.
