Yeah, man. 3 and a half years after I trade in my Mark VIII, I'll finally make it to one of the meets...in someone else's car!! :p

But honestly I've lately been seriously considering buying a nice 2nd gen LSC with reasonably low miles for under 8 or 9 grand. :)

My car has an appointment to go in for some new chrome strips and some PDR next Wednesday also :) After that it gets a good cleaning and lots of zaino. :)

You can, but we have better spots when we show -- right up by the grandstands and the fence. And I don't know how much it costs there to park, but it's only $20 to register to show.

If you really don't want to show, just look for our tent and cars and come hang out with us. But really - there's no harm in showing, my car is a daily driver and has dings and scratches and all that, but I still like to show her. And people still admire her.

sounds a lot like my car :) It gets new chrome strips and some pdr on wednesday though :D

Mark, what did you do to your car? Last time I saw your Mark it was absolutly gorgeous. And you let me in it without even floormatts on the ground. :eek: Have you been doing more of that? Or did the school bus drivers come back and get you?

You'll be welcome here with or without your car. It can't be much worse than mine though. Its starting to show its age in the paint... and some spots on the interior too. (like the leather wearing off the stearing wheel x( xo )

Yeah that you're going to go! You really should show your car though. Well, if you really won't let's figure something out. You can ride with us, but we have a lot of stuff to bring. I don't know if Mike will part with his car for a weekend or not, and there's always John's Mustang which I doubt he wants to show, though. You could always just drive your car and either leave it at the hotel or park elsewhere.

Everyone should park on the show field!!!

No one will care what your car looks like… my cars are proof enough of that… For anyone who remembers the “original” saxmobile… that poor car had a hard life… and I showed it at Carlisle, twice.

Mark you have to bring your car, it couldn’t possible look worse then the current saxmobile.
