the rate of $89.99 has been approved for the hotel. I'm going to start it with a 10 room block.

Either 2 queen beds or 1 king. Smoking and non smoking rooms will be available. If you'd want an upgraded room we can work out a rate for that as well. Or you can just hope that I can work some magic. I believe it was last year that I got Sharon into a slight upgrade. And I had a room picked out for Mark as well.

Give me till Wednesday or Thursday to have the block in the system and ready before we take reservations.

The group block is finally set up. Took a while to do... sorry. They wanted to give me a $130 per night rate. Took a little work but its back at the $89.99 rate just like the previous 2 years.

Good question. Yes, the way I understand it, there is a $20 registration fee per car for the AutoShow and a separate general admission fee for the event of either $25(1-day) or $50(2 or more days) per person.

Apparently you cannot purchase general admission tickets in advance but you may register in advance for the AutoShow. Be sure to do so at https://redhat3.admarkonline.com/~wfc/autoshow-registrations.phtml and select Lincolns of Distinction Car Club from the drop down menu on the Online Auto Show Registration page.

The drinking situation - I'm hoping to not get as drunk as I did last year. :+ Plenty of stocked coolers around.

Yes, the entrance fee for the event is purchased at the event and is $50 for the weekend (I believe that's for the entire 3 days - Friday through Sunday). The auto show entrance fee is extra, but then you have the best parking spot for the event anyway.

Yes, anyone who's coming should register early online with Lincolns of Distinction so we can all park together!

I'm suprised, I'd figured much more response, if not for the Mark VIIIs, certainly more than 102 registrations to date. I believe the first 300 to register get a free dash plaque?

I don't think Mark's signed up yet, but he better go.

I wonder if there aren't too many signed up online since this is the first year we can pre-register. Maybe people aren't aware.

But let's get some more Mark VIII's to show! I hear we'll be able to cheer for at least one Mark VIII which will be racing that weekend!

If you are going to go - pre-register under Lincolns of Distinction as our club gets credit for all who sign up online.

A reminder that the reservation cutoff is tomorrow!!!

However I can sneak you in if you need it... but they have to be made very soon for the hotel. Hopefully it'll be more than myself, Sharon, and JP.
