03 Cobra supercharger??

I have been looking and have not seen this asked here, nothing on the search either. Has anyone looked into sliding the 03 or newer supercharger, and intake obviously, onto a MarkVIII? I have a 96 LSC engineand trans put in my 95 Thunderbird and I am looking to add more power in the next couple of years. Just a thought. I see all the intake swaps and nothing on the newer style Cobra.

For the 100th time no intake or supercharger from a 99+ cobra will work on 96-98 cobra's or any of the mark VIII's w/o swaping the heads. They have a totally different head design.

Welcome to the board! Don't mind Joe (Ponyfreak), his intentions are good, and he means well. Maybe a little too much coffee due to the ten million hours of OT he has been working lately. :)

It can be done the difference is the 93 through 98 four valve motors had a different head design using IMRC's which are intake manifold control runners you can remove these and install delete plates but you will loose bottom end torque, in 1999 Ford went to tumble port heads that have a different port design and they do not use IMRC's so a 03 Cobra blower will not fit on pre 1999 heads, now a 03 Cobra blower looks cool but you can make as much if not more power with Vortech or for example Pro Charger, right now 03 Cobra owners are removing there roots blowers and installing a pro Charger kit, and larger injectors and a boost a pump and making 650 or more to the tires, I am doing the same with my Mark 8 I use a T Trim and it makes 530 RWHP if this car was a manual it would be right at 650 or more RWHP. Well I am pretty custom already with the bird. But with this info I will go talk to my mechanic at Ford and tell him to keep his eye out for a cobra that blows the bottom end. Maybe I can scavage heads and a blower from a cobra engine.

Reinhart your car is kick ass but a little more (650) than I am looking for now. Although some day I am going to look at going with that set up. How much computer work was required and how much boost are you currently running. I saw your 11 sec post that is great man.

Thanks for the welcome I hope I can pick up some HP here and with some time I can help some of you guys out. Possibly with a twin turbo, I have 2 T3's in the garage I just don't want to plumb it.

My car makes 530 RWHP on 93 octane, I am running 15 plus PSI, this car will go 10,s
