12 Hours In Detroit

I drove 1697.2 miles, didn't sleep for almost 3 entire days, and spent 12 of those awake hours in Detroit...

and all I got was this lousy t-shirt...

no wait, wait... that's not right...
I mean, all I got was this sweet ass Collector's Edition... :D

I also got a new compressor in the grey car as the one that was in it started making some unpleasant noises... Luckily, Jeremi just happened to have a brand new one that has just arrived...

Anyway, thanks again Jeremi! :D

My father (who get's this little CE gem) is so far quite smitten with it, which really speaks volumes, as he tends to be slow to warm up to most anything...
 
Oh, and the grey car hit 123456.7 miles on the way to Detroit...

I don't normally stop to take pictures, as I'm not a fan of doing anything safely if it can be avoided, but because it was dark, I couldn't get the camera to focus while the car was moving... :rolleyes:

Thanks, I will... I don't think he's quite wrapped his head around now being part of my "other family"... :D

He's seen the pics of meets and heard the stories, but actually "being there" is quite a different experience... :D

I guess your suspension switch mod finally took its toll on the compressor, huh? :wave:

I know, my plan is a little different then the former red car's "100% loud" all the time...

And the CE may get a little tone, but it will be subtle, and probably not right away...

I'm pretty sure I did tell you at Bill's house... "I think I'm gonna' buy Jeremi's car" lol

Believe it or not, it may have been the lack of use that did it in...
I normally just have the whole system switched off in the car, so that it keeps whatever height I like, and isn't constantly going up/down...

Unlike, during LOD time... when it's pretty much constantly running... :D

Sweet set! :) I guess the Cadi gets to sit outside now huh? Kinda hard to fit all three of those in that little garage, haha. Who's that homeless guy trying to steal your HID bulbs? :D

That's the best odometer shot I've ever seen.

My CE just turned 123K miles.

I hope I can remember to take a photo of mine now.:D
