100 shot, weak 2.1 60 foot time, super conservative nitrous tune with only 20 degrees of timing and 10% richer on top of the base nitrous tune. Conditions were humid and windy. Beat a new V10 M5 who ran a 13.5 at 111mph with a 2.4 60 foot time. 12's coming up after I get this thing on a dyno...

What sort of gearing are you running, and when are you activating the nitrous?

12s are in easy reach if you are running a 3.73 or lower, and you should be able to get those 60' times into the 1.9s at least.

I have 4.30 gears. It's not spinning off the line, the timing is so conservative it bogs until I hit the nitrous at 3200rpm. On the NA tune I have done 2.0 60 foot times on my Toyo 255/50/16 drag radials. The stock transmission and stock stall are hurting me as well...

Congrats on new times.Do you have J mod in the trans?
Just get higher stall converter and you will drop easy 0.5 second in the 1/4 mile .

Nope, the tranny is a bone stock 4r70w with increased line pressure from the tuner and Mobil 1 full synthetic mercon 5... btw, my best time on motor on the nitrous tune is a 14.3 at 95mph...

4.30! Wow. With my 3.73s and my drag radials, which are a little smaller and take my ratio to about a 3.9 it seems like I am running out of motor by the end of the track. And I have put down a 1.7 60' so I am sure that you have a lot more in it than you are pulling out of it right now.

It's very smart to take it to a dyno to do your tuning, and I also applaud that you are running conservative. I have always been of the opinion that I'll trade a couple of tenths to get to DRIVE the car home. :)

Past the nitrous and the gears the two biggest things that impacted my time was the stall converter (As mentioned by Burbank) and a progressive controller for the nitrous. The progressive keeps that huge hit from nailing the motor, and makes the whole thing feel more like boost. It also helped with my traction.

You are on the right path, and I commend your choices and plans. Keep us posted, you have 12s in your future!

The gen 1 intake manifold is better for low end torque versus the gen 2 intake...
