14.495 at 98.2mph

Ran a new best last night: 14.495 at 98.2mph with a 2.33 60 foot time. ::roll:: Car was really flying down the track. There were a couple other Mark VIII's running as well. Craig (Black Ice LSC) got his 14 second run, I believe he ran a 14.96 at 96mph and Todd (I don't think he posts on here) also ran a 14.9 with Craig driving his 2nd Gen. Max was running as well but i'm not sure what his best time of the night was. Overall it was a fun (and cold...) night at Sacramento Raceway.

What all do you have done? Those are some pretty decent times. I'm going to the strip next weekend. I just had it re-tuned recently and i'm hoping to put down a 13.7 or a 13.8.

That's a real nice trap speed too. I'm sure you wish your 60' times were better, but what tires were you running? What were your 1/8 mile stats?

I hope to find time off work soon and hit the track in search of best times as well. I'd like to break 100 runs this season.

My mods are: 2 exhaust cutouts that bypass the 3rd cat (stock LSC piping and cats remain), Ultraflow mufflers, Mac crank pulley, UPR bigmouth conical, Walbro 255 fuel pump, MSD wires and Screamin Demon' coil packs. That's it, pretty much stock. I have taken good care of the engine, it has 144k miles on it. I was running 245 Yohohama ES 100's. There was an error at the track and it didn't print out 1/8 mile stats for that run but on a 14.5 run I did a 9.4 1/8 mile at 77mph.
