So, it was a beautiful 40* day at Tri State Raceway in Earlville, IA on Saturday. They couldn't prep the track because of the temps. They let us run because of all the cars we had with us, but it took a lot of convincing. Anyways...

set a new personal best of 14.580 @ 98.86 MPH with a 2.290 60' time. There was a good amount of tire spin/jitter/hop off the line. Got the car spinning pretty good, and a little sideways on the 1-2 shift. More spinning on the 2-3 shift. My best 60' of the day was a 1.98 second. I feel that a 100+ mph pass is within reach (that is my goal now).

Next weekend, if it's nice enough, I'll be hitting up Rock Falls in Eau Claire, WI. They aren't so well known for their track prep though. Bad track prep is typically better than none at all though too.
