It was -16F yesterday on my way to work. It's been below 0 and single digits all week here.

I love this weather. It only lasts for about a week each year. It's much better than the wet sloppy 30 degree days.

The red Mark starts right up, and runs great. It's dressed for the winter, Snowflake wheels, snow tires and one finger of a glove stuck in the passenger's heater duct for more heat at my feet.:D

Anyone else enjoying this cold snap?
 
That's only because you don't have a Mark VIII Jeremi.:)

Stop by today, and we'll go ice fishing.:D

-16 and you enjoy it? You're seriously ill my friend. It's 1 outside... freakin' ONE! Even the dogs don't want to go out. I'm actually walking around wearing an Hawaiian shirt under my two layers of sweaters just to be hopeful.
 
I'm not ill Leo, I have a disorder.

It's called DDD, Depression Deficit Disorder. There's no cure for it, but unfortunatley, that doesn't depress me.:D

I love the clean crisp feel of this weather. I dress warm for it and walk outside with no fear of the cold. I heard that fear of the cold actually makes you colder because fear restricts your blood vessels.

Works for me.:)

Same here. Half the time they just stick their nose out and turn around uninterested. Any other time they'd rather be outdoors.

I don't know about the Mark VIIIs but the Navi' and Town Car don't mind the cold.
 
I haven't left the house in over a week. Candy (our Husky Mix) doesn't even stay outside as long as she usually does, and the poor kid is working on roofs and he (who wears shorts in winter) is even complaining about the brutal cold.
 
Coast Guard just pulled two fools off the lake that were fishing on 2" of ice. Apparently someone saw them out there and called the coasties to get them. The fisherman were all p-ssed off because they wanted to stay out there and continue fishing. I just don't get it.
 
With the high pressure, low humpty and very cold temps the DA was ideal around here, now if you can only get tires to stick you would have some great 1/4 mile times.
I think English Town should put some radiant heating on their track so they can stay open all year long. :D
 
Wow all those minus temps. and its supposed to be 62 here in Fresno today almost makes me feel bad (not lol) i will be thinking of you guys while i am waxing the car today in shorts and a t-shirt lol

Yeah, but all these southerners are missing all this beautiful snow too.:D

I've still got my 20 spoke wheels sitting in the living room. At least I've got something to wax for now, before I put them in the storage room.:)

I'll be going to Florida for a week of vacation soon, I don't think I'll miss this weather too much.:D

Bill you can't take all this snow and store it on your island. I don't want it. I am stuck home tomorrow instead of driving out to WV. This sucks big ballz.
 
I feel everyone's pain as we have hit a cold spell here in FL. as well. Low was in the 30's! But it warmed up to 64 today, hahahahahahahahahahaha;)
 
We got a heat wave today, it's 24!

Yesterday was so cold, the dogs wouldn't sleep on the floor downstairs.
