Thats what I paid for a tranny rebuild, a new neutral safety switch and a new throttle position sensor. Got the car today, seems to shift fine. I was told that both my motor mounts are bad. Does anyone know if I can replace these with a solid mount? Maybe something out of a Mustang?? I have priced them at $123 apiece.....After spending that much on the tranny, I'm tapped out. If anyone thinks this price is high for the tranny, I remind you that I live in Hawaii, and paradise isnt cheap.

I paid around $2,100 for my tranny with a tranny cooler and I live in New Jersey, which is about as from from paradise as you can get. $1,866.48 is a fare deal, especially in overpriced paradise. If you didn't get a tranny cooler installed you should do it asap, especially in hot weather!!!
The amount of money I'm spending to be in 'paradise' for my honeymoon could cover a couple of transmissions.............you should just be thankful you live there!!!
