Ihave a 1963 continental. The body need alot of wwork as well as the interior. Its a pretty complete car except for the fact rust has gotten too it. The motor runs and the car will move but it the brake lines are rotted out. What is something like this worth? I am thinking its my best bet to sell the drivetrain and part out the doors and electronics (locks power seats am radio and gages) I cant find reasonable fenders and quarters anywhere.
Are these cars more valuable with matching numbers or is something that needs this much work, better off being parted out and finding a solid body?

That's a lot of project you've got right there. You're going to have to find just the right person that's willing to take that on. Ebay might be your best bet.

That's not as bad as I thought it might be. Restoration of this car is quite doable, but will require an experienced metal worker to create some accurate patch panels for the rusted out spots. With the sheetmetal being straight, making the templates won't be too difficult. The metal work, while a lot of it to be done, is relatively simple and straightforward, the bigger pain will be repairing, or replacing any damaged chrome trim pieces. There is sufficient interior left to be able to replicate the original pattern. The engine bay needs some tlc, but is salvagable.
