1991 Lincoln Continental Air Ride Suspension Problem

I was wondering if anyone could help me. The last few months we have had problems with air ride suspension. 60% of the time we come down in the morning to go to work and the back end of the car is bottomed out, more so on the drivers side rear. Usually I just flick the air ride switch in the trunk off and then back on 10 seconds later and the compressor comes back on and the car rises up fine, and is perfectly fine for the rest of the time driving. Recently now, the back end wont rise up and when the flick the air ride switch in the trunk off then on, the compressor eventually comes on but goes back off after about 10 or 15 seconds.

I have also noticed now, when I turn the air ride switch off, then back on, I here a "CLICK, CLICK", and it seems it is coming from the silver box mounted on the wheel well right there, which the switch is wired into. Is this clicking sound normal.

Can anyone help me with diagnosing the possible problem. I also wanted to know if that silver box in the trunk is the air ride suspension control unit. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as well as any diagrams of the air ride wiring.

Thanx Jamie
