1994 Mark VIII for sale - located in NYC area

Brought to Ford Carlisle 2008 this past weekend, so some members have seen it. One was nice enough to look at it up close. Feel free to ask the opinions of anyone who might have seen it there.

97,xxx miles
white exterior / black interior
2nd owner
Air suspension replaced around 2003 or 2004. Done by local garage (with Ford parts - at least as I was told).
Car is pretty clean as far as I am concerned, especially for a driver.
aftermarket Sony radio

Issues I know about:
Driver's side seat has a rub mark in the leather (1st owner did that)
There is a very slight crack in one of the center console woodgrain doors (1st owner did that)
The shifter button is loose but works fine otherwise.
Headlights are horribly dim (this happens to all Mark VIIIs as far as I know).
Tach sticks more often than not
some stereo speakers not working
I'm missing one rim center cap
brake warning light is starting to come on and you can additionally feel it needs a brake job
Module that controls interior light and automatic door locks was removed from the car as there was a short that developed in it. I never wanted to spend the money to replace (was told it was a expensive junk yard part only at the time) so I live without an interior light and using the door locks like an older car the old fashioned way.
driver's side door handle has a crack in it, I am told this is a common issue.
hood latch under hood is missing the yellow plastic pull.
The computer occasionally says "check air suspension", has for years now. But I never have detected a problem. The car does NOT sag much at all even if being parked for a long time and not at all that I can see if parked for a short period of time. And its been often left sitting for over a month at different times.
Paint is very good overall but there is some small marks here and there, a faint black rub mark on the bumper from someone getting too close parking (but no dent and no missing paint there). Body is very good in my view, especially for an east coast car. I am the type who always picked the leaves from out of the fenders over and over through the years.
Rear tires do not match in brand, reason being I did the burnout contest at Ford Carlisle this past weekend. I did not blow the tire and stopped the run when the temp started to go up and she drove home the 205 miles fine the next day. Other than that I always left beating on any car to my 60's and 70's rides in the past and I kept the Mark VIII basically bone stock.

If you want to see the car in action at Carlisle cardomian.com posted a video here:

Reason I'm selling:
I own 7 cars since I am a car nut. My fiancee and I are moving in together. To her place in Manhattan no less so I need to start lightening the load. Plus as much as I love the Mark VIII it always seems to get driven the least of my cars. I've owned the car since 1998 so I think I can finally let go (especially with Burn-out contest photos to cherish now for years to come).

Its been a good car to me and I hope someone buys it who will appreciate it beyond basic transportation. I used to be a club member years ago. I've tried to include as much info as comes to mind. Let me know if you have any questions.

I'm listing it for $2500.

Now at 98,3xx miles. Price reduced to $1590 from $2500. This is well below Edmunds.com private party sale blue book. Found out recently I have a baby on the way and moving my cars around has become a real pain where I live now so it really should go. Would rather see it go to someone who will appreciate it rather than to one of those car cash places.

Contact is still torino@hush.ai
