Hello Everyone,

My Uncle's 1995 Lincoln Mark VIII Coupe is going up for Auction to the highest bidder in Illinois starting tomorrow (4-29-11)

Please let me know if you are interested.....Auction ends on Saturday.

I am the Executor of his Will and I am thinking of putting a Reserve on it for $5,000 since I see them selling for more over $5,000 on eBay.

Any Feedback is appreciated!

Thanks,

The outhouse gave me a chuckle... "slightly used - low miles?"

As for the Mark, it appears to be in great shape, and it's a color that I don't recall seeing much of. 5k strikes me as a reasonable goal. I'm not buying and selling like some of the other folks here though, so my knowledge may be out of date.

That old Kaiser is interesting as well. I'd love to hear the story on that one.

1996 TX car preferable red with black interior will fetch more money than a 1995 IL car in Rosemist and Ivory interior.

But, if you feel you can get it, then list it on Ebay. Small local estate auction will bring $3k if that.

eBay millions of potential customers, local estate auction a whole lot less

Agree 100% Steve. I do not want to give the car away.
I will list it on eBay if I do not get $5,000. It ain't going any where.

Also, I can't see people being picky on the color and color of interior if they want a 1995 version of any car.

Thanks for everyone's Feedback.

Don't forget with any eBay listing or auction there are fees involved, so you would not be pocketing $5,000. Try to list it locally on your own as well.

You're right, nobody can. But saying that color doesn't matter because it's a 1995 model car doesn't sound like a great selling technique ;)

What I mean't is I like red you like black, doesn't matter because who is to say what any potential buyer likes............it could be pink and all the Mary Kay reps are foaming at the mouth! It don't matter bro.

Hey Bud, you said you like pink!! ;) Goodluck with the sale(s)!

yea color will make the popularity of the car more desirable, so it will sell for more. Good luck

Lol, dork

It's definately not rosemist, as that was a 94 only color. Could you get a closeup of the build sticker, inside the drivers door jam. I think its Garnet Red Glaze, code GF.
