How much do you think this can be put up for sale on the auction site?
Its a bare bone stock 1996 LSC. Has my redone interior from the totaled car in it. Has new alternator, battery, uppercontroll arms, moog front suspension strut rods. Front brakes were done when i got the car along with new front wheel hub bearings. Still makes use of the factory air ride and has both high low beam capability on the headlights at same time. No HIDs though. 111,000miles.

I decided to sell it cause i want the moon roof back. Still hunting another car now. This car doesnt have it. It pulls 27.2 MPG on highway. Just had it out yesterday. All factory no mods except the interior and new paintjob. Ohh yeah, no lasagna on rear window rubber at all. Perfect factory rubber. This one must of lived inside a garage alot before i got it. Engine idles like a sewing machine and is super quiet with factory exhaust. Ive got about 4000 in it with paintjob and new parts so i guess thats the start. Whatever it goes beyond that i guess it was worth my time.

what are you asking, starting bid, reserve, but it now? You may want to try craigslist to avoid ebay fees.

Hmm, how good is that new paintjob ?

Im not sure what youre asking or implying?. If its about the quality, Ive seen better for sure too. This isnt the type of car you throw 3K into a paintjob unless you keep it for show. Its a stock driving car, nothing more. I shouldnt have paid the guy what i did. But its done and looks alot better than having it scatched like before.

It is what it is, if it doesnt sell, no big deal ill keep it as an ornament in the pole barn or make it a drag car. Im still looking for another one with a moon roof.

is it a 95 or 95 because no hid's and no intech v-8 emblem on the trunk lid would make me think its a 95. that interior looks sweet!

I was asking purely from a buyers stand point. I can always use another mark viii ;) Nice paint would possibly steer me into buying a 1st gen car again.

At the same time though, I've had bad experiences with a full repaint, thus the question.

On the paint, i had him fix 1/4 sized dent on upper drivers 1/4 panel and also there were scratches down the passenger side. The guy says im to anal at the quality I wanted it to come out like for what i paid. I guess i just expected alot more for the money. If i did the car myself i would have taken all the rubber and trim and door handles off the car to do it. They didnt, they taped them off and i was very upset about it when i picked it up. Im ordering the proper chrome badging for the rear trunk. Those are shiny chrome ones i had in the garage. It is a 1996 LSC. Those are base model chrome trim emblems on it now. Ill have to pick up some new ones from ebay or some where. The old ones were old looking and peeling.

It was already black to start with, so its just an outside only new paintjob, no door jams ect.

That's pretty nice looking and the interior looks sweet. I bet it would go for a tad more than what you're starting price would be.

What happen to the HIDs

There sitting on my shelf for my next Mark 8 I buy. Had to keep something right? I guess i could sell them for extra to the buyer once he came and drove the car away if he wanted them that badly for extra cash. I do have like three sets of balastasts and wiring from 1997 -1998 ones, just no headlamps off the parts cars. I got a big stash of controll boxes and sensors from the other parts cars as well. Right now i got 5 of them out there at the shop.
Jp, i got a 1993 roller only, no title with good 1/4 panels and doors if youre interested for cheap. Once the motor and tranny and rear assembly is out of it,
Heres some more of the sides.

lol Jeff, Put the daggum blower in that car and be done with it for cryin out loud! :)

haha Mike, no way. Im saving it for you for my next car. ;-)

Course the next one will have a better reworked space for the intercooler mounted up higher than the other one was. I gettting trained now on how to weld and want to learn aluminum TIG to for my pipes and other stuff.
Keep you baby locked up in a garage, seems the accident bugs are going around the board. Nahhh Ive never been one to keep a car on a trailer or locked up, use it and take the memories with ya.
Like they say, cant take fine wine with you to heaven, only the memories having fun with friends using it.

Too late, I just unloaded the roller in the garage last week.

Cool beans. Glad to see the blue flame is going to be redone. I just got home from work with this one. Damn,,, after not driving one in about 8 months or so and its one oclock in the mroning, full moon and Ozzy crazy train came on the radio with miles of deserted blacktop with woods on both sides....you get the picture. It was triple digit time. THESE CARS ARE AWESOME! She never hicupped and delivered a full ear to ear grin for 10 minutes im still wearing now. I should take this out of the garage more often. hahah My daily drivr truck seems so lacking now, and thats got a new GM 350 crate motor and rebuilt 4L80E tranny. hahah

This lincoln would waste it in a heartbeat. Did i say that? a Ford beating a Chevy? Yup. done deal.

Thats better, The correct new rear LSC badges...

Did you wreck yours? Or did I miss a crash post?

Yeah, my blue one is totaled due to "cosmetic" damages the insurance company said added up to more than the car was worth blue book. Sad i know, but i bought back the wreck and still have all the goodies.
Hunting another one still J with a moonroof.
