How long has the car been In IL ? Don't believe you're gonna get that much for your car. Sorry, just being realistic. Even cars completely rust free (southern/western states) with less miles aren't going for that much.

Going to have to agree, i would hope you would get that price but if you get offered 1/2 of that consider taking it.

First time here and he posts a car for sale. Now everyone is hating on him. I see a trend.

OK Everyone, we got the message on the price.

Please do not continue beating the price into the ground, so that ludichris77 can get back to trying to sell his car.

Thank you!

I started this, please forgive me.... I thought I was preparing him for the outcome! Didn't mean to start a conflict!

Sorry gents.. I am a newbie to this site and the email for this thread went my spam box and I check it maybe once per week. @Budpytko as far as I know this car was purchased in Illinois and has stayed in Illinois. I actually purchased it from one of my best friends. It was his mothers car and she drove it just over a mile to work and back everyday. It was garage kept and kept out of the snow. Since I have had the car it has been a phenomenal investment. It gets great gas mileage on the highway and has tons of power its just awesome. But like with any older car there are things that need to be fixed and replaced and so I have. Now that I have a family its time to get a bigger vehicle something with 4 doors. At least I am not gonna get a mini van. I would like to keep the car but its time I find a buyer that appreciates this sleek ride. Its funny when I tell people this LSC is 14 years old they don't believe me when they see this car. The dealer is offering me $6000.00 for it on trade which I'm still pondering. The lincolns here in Chicago must be a hot item cause the same dealer just showed me one he had on his lot two weeks ago 1997 LSC loaded mint with 40k miles. They sold it for $13,995.. I appreciate your time and advice and your appreciation of the Mark VIII.

In Mass, if you got $6000 for your car you'd be doing amazingly well...

good luck! :D
