After 4 months the transformation is nearly complete.

Most mods that were done by the previous owner were reversed, and then re-done to fit my taste a little better. The only thing that remained stock is the interior.

For the most part the drivetrain is setup similarly to my previous car, with the exception of gearing (to aid traction) and less sleeper look.

Several things are still to be completed; custom intake tubing, custom single exhaust, belt wrap pullies and most importantly a dynotune.

Then few weeks of test driving to figure out the rear end gear ratio (3.27 so far) as well as wheel widening to help those 315/35/17 tires bulge a little less.

We'll see how long I get to keep this one ... ;)

But the car runs and drives on its own, so here are few pictures after hours of cleaning garage dust. Enjoy !

Great looking Mark VIII, Jeremi. If I ever had to mod a Mark VIII again I would go your exact route. Supercharge it and leave the gears alone.

And that Cordovan color is the only red color I would actually consider. Looks fantastic.

Wow 315s are probably the largest tires ever put on a Mark VIII. (Yes I know there is a drag car out there, it doesn't count)

What are the estimated power #s?
And clean those carpets, besides that it is beautiful. Why is your engine bay always cleaner than your interior hahaha.

Rene, no Indy for me, as the car has temporary exhaust and a start up tune.

Max, shooting for the average 400 rwhp 450rwtq.
I doubt this car will ever see the track, it's too damn nice.

Engine bay is cleaner beacuse that's where I spend most of the time LOL. Actually interior is just as the day I bought it from Jeff.
The carpet needs to come out for thorough cleaning on a nice enough day.

Great Job Jeremi....the s/c really stands out with the polished rocker cover vs. those red ones. Also...the 03/04 Cobra rims look 10X better on this car!! Awesome dude......and you did it in no time too!

Where did you locate the Cobra intercooler and pump?

Wow.

I'm going to burn my car now.

LMAO!

I just noticed........wth did they put your wheel weights on the outside!? I'd be punch'n some d00ds if they tried that with my chrome wheels! (unless it was you, lol)

hey where did the wiring go that runs over the pass side strut tower? how did you eliminate all that stuff isnt it important to the car? i know there are 3 large plugs on that wiring that go through the firewall into the pass kick panel. what do thay go to and how did you get rid of them. what did serve in the car before you took it out. i remove these all the time too but i have no idea what the plugs feed. it took me 3 times looking at the pics to notice that whole section of harness appears to be gone.

Jamie, you have good eyes. If you pay close attention, there is not a single harness to be found on the motor with the exception of the main feed. Most harnesses are hidden out of sight. The one on the passenger's side is run inside the fender well, like it should've been from the factory (most of the wires are for the headlights and MAF control). The fuse box is next when I make some more room around the battery area. I hate wires ! LOL

The intercooler pump is in the pass wheel well, behind the compressor. The exchanger is behind the lower bumper valance. I can post some pics of that in the drivetrain section.

Wheel weights ? Believe it or not but that's how Ford sold these wheels on Cobra's, with clip on weights on the outside. I'd be really pissed if I paid $30k for a car with clip on wheel weights. They will be fixed after the car gets some mileage. I'll probably take the wheels off and take them in with my truck.

The Vette has exterior wheel weights also (factory). I am not complaining just yet. Because I had a lot of issues with the "stick on" weights. They would fall off, not balance correctly etc.

Oh and I can't believe no one asked you this yet... what does your custom plate say?

I didn't ask because I can read it :D PULLIED

So......it seems you have access to all this "left over" junk, brand new engines/rims/intercooler plumbing...etc.

You gonna share some info because some of us might be interested in buying a complete 03/04 engine too :D
