1999 Town Car Signature Edition

Rene

Lincoln Lady
We've added a "new" Lincoln to our stable this week! It belongs to my husband, Brad
The color is: Deep Wedgewood Blue, and it has under 66,000 miles.

Changes to come: Removal of front license plate holder, removal of vent visors. We already have an appointment next Friday to get the windows tinted :D

LOL, you still need another Mark VIII, a Mark VII and a Navigator. But if anyone can keep up with me, Brad can. ;)

Those are my favorite Town Car wheels too. Nice addition to the stable. :D

You don't care for the vent visors?

You'll appreciate 'the ride' on the highway, and for such a big car, I think they are quite nimble in city traffic. Gas mileage is not that bad either.

One word of advice... if it needs tires or you think it rides 'rough', get the GoodYear Assurance ComforTred. I put a set on the '02 we had and it really made a difference in the ride quality and road feel.

Brad thought about a Navigator a few years back, but didn't get one. I was hoping he'd get a Mark VIII this time, but he can't sit up straight in one, even with the seat all the way back.

We really like these wheels, too . . . were they also made in chrome?

Nah, we've never been fans of vent visors. We're going to have our friend that does paint and bodywork for a living carefully remove them. They have little Lincoln emblems on them, and I figured we could see if a member here is interested in them.

The ride is wonderful! We're very happy with it, and we've been watching the average mileage . . . not bad at all :)

I'll make sure I keep a note on the tires you mentioned, and thanks for the advice :)

Beautiful Town Car!

I like the color. What color is the interior?

I don't care for the visors or license plate holder either.

The interior is blue also, but not as dark as the exterior. I'm so happy we found it in such nice condition - it's sweet inside and out :D

I'll post more pics next weekend, once we get the windows tinted (Friday). We took another couple out to dinner with us tonight in it - comfy and lots of room :)

The front plate and the dealership stickers are off already. Gonna work on those visors tomorrow.

Finally, new pics! I took these downstate last weekend, right after I washed it!
