2.5 exhaust question

is it worth it to get a full 2.5 exhaust cat back on my mark? i only plan on doing basic bolt on's to it and was wondering if i would just be better off getting the third cat cut out and having an x pipe installed and just going with good performance mufflers.

hey driller what did that set up cost you? i know J's set up is is way out of my price range heck i cant even aford the electric dumps let alone the rear of the work and steel.
 
Haha........the exhaust work cost me 100 bucks cash....but ya, the cutouts are pricey but worth it being as uncommon as they are. People couldn't figure how I made my car louder/quieter without getting out of my car, haha.

As far as a simple exhaust setup like driller, you need some sort of headers. The driver's side exhaust manifold has the cat attached so until you do something with this, its easier to just remove the 3rd cat, install an X, and run true duals.

Ya....my bosses did that crap right before I was about to install it! Jerks....if I waited any longer I would have been at the shop hecka late.

They did the diff cover in memory of my Stang.....
