2000 Lincoln LS Tail lights

Hey guys, good evening.

I have a 2000 LS v8 and I was wondering about changing the tail lights to something with a little bit less red. I noticed some of the newer models have tail lights that have yellow flashers on them. I have yet to be able to find something that fits the 2000 that incorporates the yellow. For some reason, I prefer yellow lights for hazards. Studies show that Yellow is the colour that sticks out the most in the dark.

Does anybody here know where I can get such a tail light? Will the ones on the newer models fit?

hmm...thats a nice thought, however I am not sure if the state allows a person to have orange turn signals. :)
 
Did you see if there is European version of the tail light? I believe they require yellow over there for the flashing part.
 
I have tried to search for them but I have no idea as to really search for european parts for an american car. I tried to use ebay.de but my german skills are non existent... Do you know of a way to find european parts for an american car?

Do you know if the lights from like a 2003 (where I believe they introduced colours) fit a 2000? It does not look like anything has changed shape wise...

Time to visit/call the junk yard. They will know which years are interchangeable.
