anyone know what i need to do to put a set of 2000 gt mustang rims i know i need to change the hub but if i get one off a mustang gt 2000 does it just bold streight in to the mark8 or do i have to mod all kind's of stuff?

I know Jesse is running Mustang Cobra rims without a problem and they fit well... the mustang offset is usually a bit lower than the Marks causing them to "stick out" more... if you can get specs on the wheels we can help you more.

You will need a "bolt pattern changer thingy" your bolt pattern has to be changed from a 5x108 to a 5x114. This is really easy but the changers cost about $40 apiece. I have a set that have worked well for me and I like the looks of the 2006 Mustang wheels on my car.

i believe the specs are 17" x 7.5 lug pattern is 5-114 but the lug spacing is differant some guy at a rim shop checked my lug pattern online and he said it was 5-115 on my 1995 lincoln markviii do you know the correct name of the "bolt pattern changer thingy"? or could i just swap hub's ? if so how much work would it be? also my wifes stepfather had a dodge magnum and he just changed his rim's and he has his stock ones left over and i checked online and the lug pattern is supposed to be the same the spec's for those rims are 18" x 8" x 5-115 im getting them tomorrow afternoon for free so it cant hurt to try right? so im interested to see if they will fit if so i think im gonna paint them dark gunmetal grey or a dark black glossy ill keep you guy's posted to see if they fit.

Mark VIII is 5x108 Mustang is 5x114.3 or 5x4.25 for the Mark VIII vs 5x4.5 for the mustang.

You need to check the offsets... Believe the magnums etc have very high positive offsets so they wont fit the mark.

does any one know of thos adapter's that "IOWNCARS" was telling me about i have a whole set of 2000 mustang gt rim's that my buddy gave me just sittin in my storage and i wanna put em to use i think they would look great on my car or would it be better to switch the hub's?

Well switching the hubs is the correct way to do it... the adaptors may weaken the original studs and cause the wheels to fall off under extreme conditions...

Those conditions may not be as extreme as you think.

I would play it safe and go with a hub swap.

right on but im not much of a mechanic how hard is it to do a hub swap ?and about how many hour's per hub ? and will the gt hub's just pop in? or do i have to mod them?

The swap is fairly straight forward...

The fronts are very easy... just swap out and swap in...

The rears will require you to take off the spindle and or pop out the bearing since it not mounted on the hub in the same way it is in the front.

You will need a press to do this.

I would say about 45 min per rear and about 30 min per front... so 2.5 hrs total.
