2000 TC upgrades

Hi all

i have a 2000 TC Exec. Series with 62000 miles
i was wondering what is availible for performance upgrades for these cars (engine, exhause, suspension,ect)
i have the single exhaust right now, and plan on going to a dual system, either factory or custom, but wasnt sure if anyone aftermarket companies made a system for these cars
does anyone know if short headers from a mustang will fir thr 4.6 or if any companies make headers for the TC

i bought a set of 17x9 replica Cobra R rims to help with handling, but not sure if there are good options to change the shocks and springs
the original tires are 225/60/16 and i am putting on 255/45/17 which is only a 2% difference so the speedo wont be off that much
i can also get those tires ALOT cheaper than the 245/50/17's that would be needed to keep the speedo exact

i see some people with Crown Vic and Grand Marquis go with the air box from a Marauder and an aftermarket throttle body, i was wondering if anyone here has tried anything like that

Most of the stuff that works on the crown vics will work on the town cars. I'm not sure what exactly will or will not fit though. For exhaust, your best bet is to find a good local shop that will fab up a custom one for you. I don't think anyone makes aftermarket exhaust for that car. The shorty mustang headers would probably fit, but wouldn't be worth it power wise. Long tube headers would probably have to be custom made.
