2002 Ford F-150 SLAVE CYLINDER

With a credit card? :D

Seriously, the 5 speed slave cylinders are a PITA to properly replace. I can't tell you how many our fleet has had go bad over the years. It is common to replace the replacement shortly afterwards as well. Like our alternators, it seems to reflect the rebuild quality of the replacement. Ugh! :(

How do you do that?

Lol! What do you mean!? Are you asking for a write up on how to remove a transmission on a 2002 F-150?

With a credit card? :D

+1 for this.....take it somewhere because when it fails (which it will) you may still have the warranty so they will fix it for free.

I can't think of which is worse...replacing it, or trying to bleed the damn thing!!!! *throws up in mouth*

LMAO, what......ev......er! Tell him to start the truck in 2nd gear (with foot on clutch) and it will start moving and drive when it starts. He will have to pull it out of gear at lights, then turn the engine off and put it back in 2nd and start the truck again when the light turns green. That way you can drive it to your house.

Trust me, he does NOT want to do this job in a parking lot.
