2010 Award Categories?

I have no idea how many awards the club will be giving out. I'm just trying to get organized here, and thought I'd bring up issues discussed after Carlisle 2009.

So, who has ideas on what awards should be handed out this year? How about some fun ones so those who don't normally qualify get an award from the club?

I always like Furthest distance travelled, hard luck, maybe even worst in show for the dedicated member who shows up even though the car is in no way, shape or form going to win an award.

Ideas/suggestions anyone?

Since I doubt I'll be able to get Steve to go (I think he's buying a house that weekend) I think "best interior" is up for grabs... :D

I'd be careful with worst in show.. I was at a show where that was presented and the recipient was mortified to have gotten it. She thought her car was beautiful... You could hurt somebody's feelings unintentionally

We'll have to make sure the person has a good sense of humor... :D
or we could just call it "best in show" and it would be funny to the rest of us...

How about "youngest LOD member participating in Carlisle" ? :D

I always like ... hard luck ...
Would my 80mph motorcycle accident back in January make me considered for the hard luck award? It didn't have anything to do with my car, but it did set me back aways on doing anything to it. haha

I have the traditional ones on order, but I'm sure one or more could be changed or even added.

Well, if I manage to get the car to Carlisle, I think I should win worst in show (aka "best in show") and Most Spirited Mark VIII Owner. hahaha
