2nd gear bark

i had 2 95 mark 8 lsc's and they both barked 2nd gear, i just bought a 91 lsc and it doesn't do anything, it seems like it is easing into gear instead of hiting into gear when i manually shift from 1 to 2.
i hope my trans is not going out or is it something they changed for the 97 year mark in the trans, or should i get a chip burned to firm the shifts. somebody plese tell me something.

I believe the Gen2s pull timing from the engine during the shifts.

You can have the shifts altered via a chip, a shift kit or both.

I have both.

I have an SCT switch chip from Lonnie at Blue Oval and I have the Baumann shift kit.

thanx 4 the response, my buddy has a 94 mark and i kick his but off the line everytime, its just when he chirps 2nd gear i get jealous,lol. we havent got on the freeway yet where i think he might beat cause he got his up to 135, and mine stops at 128.

well we just raced about an hour ago. me, him in the 94 mark, and my other buddy with a 94 SHO. this how it went i think my freind in the sho knew we was going to bite hard so as we were getting on the freeway so he jumped in front of both of us as we were entering the x-way and gunned the sho, so i hit it right behind him and almost ran into the back of him so i let off a little, i got over and passed the sho like he was sitting still. soon i thought i was in the clear here come that 94 mark at WOT coming up behind me, i dropped it in 2 and matched his speed and pulled away till about 115mph and here he comes passing me up but not like i passed the sho. i got up to 128 and died, he said he was at 135 and cut out. ill be ready for him 2morrow cause i got dyno dave burning me a 3 stage chip with led lights letting me know my selection, stock , unrestricted, and wicked. i'll be ready for the drag strip sun.

so how much does dyno dave charge for said 3 stage chip? I have a 94 1st gen and im looking for a afordable chip. any info on "dyno dave"?

HE CHARGE ME 275 forA 3 stage and 200 for a single,he's gonna ask you for a fourletter code on your computer box located on the drivers side above the park brake. are you in detroit area are he'll give you some computer love.
