Thought I'd let all 2nd gen. owners know that if you're considering getting a new neon light bar, you might want to do it soon. I went to my local ford dealer and ordered one for my car-- He told me that there were only five left in the country in my color (silver frost).

RE: 2nd Generation Neon tail light

AHH! My three biggest fears on my '98 - the blend door, the neon taillight, and the headlight ballast.

I almost want to put an on/off toggle so I can shut down the neon lights. I'm also beginning to wonder if I should quit using the auto light feature - which seems to turn on the lights every time I pull into the garage.

Thats what I did... saves your lights from having to ignite, then turned off for shortly for nothing.

I did the same thing as well, they are just too expensive to be burning for no reason.
