3.73's, Tractionlock, and 93 driveshaft.

With my 4.10's I was getting 22-23MPG at 70MPH. 3.73's are NOT worth the money at all...you'll be very disappointed.

Changing the gear ratio that drastic would probably hurt you more. Yeah you're figuring it out to be at the top of 3rd, but you're going to have traction and acceleration differences that come into play. I don't think there are a lot of drag cars out there running that high of a gear ratio.

i have talked to quite a few guys with drag cars that run very low gears. my buddy has a 69 camaro with a 396 big block running a 30x9" tire that runs 5.13 gears. his class index is a 11.27 in the 1/4 and his car can run almost 1.5 sec under the index if he runs out the back door.

If you are looking for more performance and daily driving, I would get at least 3.90's. For track use might as well get 4.30's.

He's running 5.13's because he has tall/wide slicks on it. If he was running a normal drag radial it'd be a different story.

3.90's would be a waste of time IMHO....expecially if you have an LSC. 3.07's to 3.90's really isn't "that much"...even though 4.10's doesn't seem like much more.
