50" LCD High Definition capable monitors

I'm thinking of buying either the Sony KF50WE610 or the Panasonic PT-50LC13. The Sony is $3299, the Panasonic is $2999.
The Panasonic will plug into my home computer (whoopie?), but the Sony won't. The Sony boasts 3 reflective light mirrors whereas the Panasonic only has 1. The picture quality is virtually indistinguishable.

I need help deciding which one to buy if either. I am not entirely sure that I shouldn't wait for the built-in tuner sets to come out next year. Anyone?

Might I suggest that you skip the t.v., buy something modest, then give the difference to your church so they may help spread the word or G-d or help a family in need. You know, it is the holiday season and all.

I was thinking about getting the Samsung DLP but it's too expensive and the images always seem darker than the Sony's. You can get the Sony directly from their website with free shipping and no tax (at least in California).
