Ok so I am looking into buying some rims on ebay but the seller has the bolt pattern listed as 5x108/5x112. Are they the same thing???

No they are not... but the wheels probably have 8 holes in them. Make sure you get the correct offset as well.

yea they have 10 holes. So im assuming that there are two lug patterns drilled? and also, the rear tires are 285/30/20. They seem to big, right?

They will be two lug bolt patterns.

285/30/20 = 11.22" Wide x 26.73" Diameter
225/60/16 = 8.86" Wide x 26.62" Diameter

The diameter should be no issue but depending upon the wheel offset, there could be issues with the width. However I think 275s have been used with no issue. Someone with more wheel experience may chime in.

i own a 03 Ls, and i happen have 225-30-20 on my car and i love them, yes make sure you have the correct size bolt pattern, prehaps maybe going to your local tire shop and get a quote from them may help.. also i do believe that 285 -30-20 is to wide for a Ls.. good luck ~

I just found this out myself the other day,on a 2000 Ls 5x108,offset-60mm,
Rim width 7.5'',Wheel nut threads 12mmx1.5 if that helps in anyway.Let me know how that works out because im lookin to put 20''or 22'' rims on my 00' LS

yea i brought them to a local wheel shop and they said that the back tires might rub with 285/30 on them. Whats the worst that can happen with a little bit of rub?
