Have tested connector going to ABS pump both with ignition switch on and with engine running. Applied brake on each of the four connectors. There is no current present during tests. Should there be a constant signal going to ABS pump or is this intermitant based on application of break pedal?
RE: 86 Mark VII Rear brake failure, no signal at ABS connector.
Quick check of BOO (Brake on - Brake Off) switch. Drive with cruise control on. If you tap the brakes does cruise shut off?
Ford has had mucho problems with the BOO switch over the years.
