I think this would be a great place toplace this .1993 Lincoln Mark VIII. DOHC Cobra 4.6 liter V-8 .It has the 4 cam shafts not 2 and 4 valves per cylinder .It is the police interceptermoter pacage I was told .It has a automatic overdrive transmission.Thats a automatic with 4 gears.The transmission has mostly electronic parts so most repairs are supposed to be easy and a change of part from the exterior of them.The car runs quiet you cannot really hear it at all unless you push the gas then the rumble is very distinctive. This car is Loaded with features including dual airbags, four wheel anti-lock disc brakes, dual exhaust, computer-controlled air-spring suspension with speed-dependent height adjustment, AM/FM CD stereo, ice cold AC,super hot heat, Rare Black leather interior package. 143,000 pampered miles thats less then what 12k miles a year I think .The car was bought for a friend who is disabled .It has full power seats lumbar controll everything .It has the custom JBL sterio but he says the cd does not work.The CD is in the dash so you could just place a changer in the trunk and plug it in if its not a fuse.It is the amplified system with speakers everywhere.Sounds unbeleavable.It has both drivers and passangers airbags .It also has automatic climate control and a computor console that tells you everything the car is doing like oil life/oil level coolent level and air suspention and wether your lights are good or not etc etc etc all at a touch of a button.The black interior is beutifull.The drivers side seat has a very small tear that is not a stand out factor and can be easly repiared or ignored.The rest of the interior is mint if not near mint condition All in black.It is the very hard to get black.The carpet is like brand new. It has the custom Lincoln aluminum rims with no road rash and they have 4 goodyear radials that will pass inspection.I think they are like new if I can remember.The car passed inspection about 8 months ago when he bought it.When he bought it just as preventative maintanance he had these things done by ASE certified mastertechs because he is a bit anel when it comes to mechanics of a car.He had installed-new water pump-new alternater-new battery-new belts-Timing service-new filters-Fuel injector service-tune up.Now the car has a couple spots where the clear coat has worn off but it still looks great.The car is a very rare color done by linclon and he had the intentions to get the clear coat and paint repaired.His wife took it to the grocery store and the car was buped in the rear and it has a couple small scratches in the left rear bumper only no dents on the car.It was estimated at $569 to repair the scratches and the paint by geico makeing look like a new car.When the car was pushed forwarard he has done nothing but complain..He says that the shifting dont feel right between first and second gear .I drove the car and the car seems to shift fine.He sent me back out in it and told me to press on it a little and when I pressed on it a little the rear tires spun a little but it did have a hesitation between first and second but none of the other gears.Now your talking about alot of horse power it took me to make it do it.I am told that a service and at worst a electronic shift regulator would need to be installed that is on the exterior of the transmission to solve this problem or it would over time adjust itself.As an everyday driver it drives and shifts fine but if you want to throw that what 325 hp? Directly at it you will have a delay between first and second only.If your looking to drive under 50mph (that would be rediculas)before second shifts in you should not feel a thing.If you drive normal you should never know.I did take it out on I 95 and hit 100 mark with 40 to go on the odometer as a test only and the moter was not peaked and the car drove smooth and quiet and shifted fine.I drove the car for a week and it drives fine.This car has every single available option but the moonroof.The list is way too long from memory seats to keyless entry to duel remotes with alarm and trunk and locks.This is a rust free car from what I saw and the only harsh weather it has seen has been latly as it was pulled out and replaced with a park avenue that had the same features minus the cobra moter and now he has his moon roof.He was very paticular in cars before he got hurt and it took him a year and a half to find this paticular car with this paticular rare paint interior combination.It looks like a pink/purple at one angle and dark blue at another and black at another and purpleish pink at another.This is a special color done by lincoln.There is no body puddy or repaint on the car .He was into car collecting in the past and this was a special car for him to find for some reason.Now this car will need some TLC but I think that most of the people are buying them for the cobra moters to place in their mustangs and that is a shame.The inside of this car makes you feel like your in a spaceship and it is so classy.It would be a shame to rip the drivetrain out of the car to put it into a mustang.Thats how he told me to list it basically for the moter and interior and parts.But the body has no dents and this is a very nice headturner.This car has a clear title on hand.We would also be open for it to be sent to a transmission shop for a diagnostic if a fair deal came along as long as you paid the diagnostics.Otherwise if no deal is made we will send it to Manhime auto auction and let a wholesaler buy it and fufill any needs it has and retail it.I am looking on ebay now and the headlights it has are bringing $168 each bid up oem and the seats in worse shape in black are bringing $250 and the moter is at $1400 .This is all bid up to that and the parts on this car are mint or near mint and better.He just wants it out with minimal headache.Make him a offer and get a great deal. This car can be driven home if you have a dealer tag without a probem and on a long trip.United Auto Centers did most the preventative work.
